What is Passage mode?

Passage Mode is a convenient feature that disables the auto-lock function during a scheduled time. This is especially useful for businesses, offices, or homes where the door needs to stay unlocked during specific hours. 

For example, you can set the lock to stay unlocked from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing seamless entry during your business hours. 

Important Notes About Passage Mode:

• Proximity Needed: You must be near the lock to set or change Passage Mode unless the lock is connected to a Sifely Gateway. 
• Locking During Passage Mode: The door can still be locked manually at any time by:
  • Pressing and holding the # or lock symbol on the keypad
  • Locking it via the Sifely app
• You can set the passage mode to “Automatic open at start time”. If it’s not showing, please reach out to [e-mail] for support.
   
• If it is unlocked again during the schedule, it will stay unlocked until the schedule ends.
• Auto-Locking at End of Schedule: Once the Passage Mode schedule ends, the lock will automatically lock and resume its normal auto-lock behavior.

To enable Passage Mode, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Sifely App and select your lock. 

Step 2: Navigate to the Settings menu.

Step 3: Tap on Passage Mode option in the settings menu.

 

Step 4: Turn on Passage Mode and Set a Schedule. Enable the toggle for Passage and create a schedule based on your needs. Tap on Save.

Note: You can also set multiple Passage mode. Just tap the "Add another Schedule" to set another schedule.
