My gateway went offline. Why is my gateway offline?
Answer
Here are several factors that could be affecting it:
- Unstable wifi connection.
- Check if other devices connected to same wifi network are still working.
- Power outage in the area.
- Gateway unplugged.
Here are the recommended troubleshooting steps:
- Disconnect Sifely Gateway from power outlet.
- Wait 5 minutes before plugging it back.
- Check online/offline status within the app after a few minutes. Check which color light the gateway is blinking?
- If blinking blue, this means that the connection was restored.
- If blinking Red, this means that you need to repair the gateway again to your Wifi network
